Title: Commencement and Baccalaureate Programs, 1884-2009
Abstract: Commencement exercises consisted primarily of invocations, speakers, and awarding of degrees. Baccalaureate exercises occurred shortly before or after the commencements and comprised hymns, prayers, and addresses. Baccalaureate services had more of a religious connotation as they always occurred on a Sunday. Separate Baccalaureate services were either merged with the commencement exercises or discontinued altogether by around the late 1960s.

The collection is arranged chronologically by year. Some years have more than one commencement, one in January and another in May or June.
The programs span 1884-2009. In more recent years, there are programs for both Spring and Fall commencement ceremonies.
