Local cataloging procedures

1. Add MARC 540 field note to a bib record: $a For use by TCNJ Gitenstein Library community only. No interlibrary loan. Does not include public performance rights but may be used in the classroom. $5 NjEiC

2. Add the following information in MARC 852 field on the DVD holdings record to reference the corresponding VHS record:

     $x Reproduction of archival VHS V#

3. Suppress the VHS record in Voyager and make the following note in the suppressed bib record:

     948    $a Record suppressed. VHS copy transferred to DVD under Section 108.

4. Add the following information in MARC 852 field on the VHS holdings record to reference the corresponding DVD record:

     $x Reproduction DVD #

5. Cancel the OCLC holdings for the suppressed VHS record so that outside users do not find the OCLC holdings and think that the VHS is still available for use while the record cannot be found.
