The library's abstracting and indexing databases with few exceptions (e.g. MLA) reveal book reviews. Be sure to use the "Reviews" (or equivalent) search limiter. Sometimes the best approach is to perform a basic keyword search for <review> or even <"review article"> in conjunction with words and phrases from the book's title.
Gitenstein Library's discovery service is another great tool for locating book reviews. Search for the book's title and then in the results page, under "Tweak your results," select the box next to Reviews (under "Resource type") to see only book reviews. Additional options for plays, films, and literary works can be found on the Reviews page of the English libguide.
