Guide Introduction
This libguide will accompany the upcoming exhibition, Ukraine Yesterday | Today | Tomorrow, coming to the TCNJ Art Gallery from February 7 through March 7, 2023. Opening event: February 7 (Wed.), 4-5 pm, reception to follow.
The exhibition
This spring, TCNJ Art Gallery will present Ukraine Yesterday | Today | Tomorrow, a group exhibition of the work of Ukrainian artists, curated by Dylan Siegel with the assistance of gallery director, Margaret Pezalla-Granlund. Siegel is the director of Sonya Gallery, a charity gallery which features the work of significant contemporary Ukrainian artists, cultivates awareness of Ukrainian arts and culture, and raises money for the Sunflower Network, a non-profit organization that provides direct and essential aid to Ukrainians in need. Siegal will recommend a slate of artists for the exhibition and coordinate with the artists and lenders to bring the work to the TCNJ Art Gallery.
