For assistance with finding books in TCNJ Library, review the "Find Books" module of the library research skills tutorial.

Using the search box at the center of the Library home page, type words related to your topic. To limit your results to books (including ebooks), choose "Books & Media" from the drop-down list next to the search box. Use the Advanced Search interface to focus your search criteria.

After you've run a search, look on the left side of your search results page [in the "Tweak your results" column] for some useful features that can help refine your results. For example:

• Limit by "Location" allows you to see results from a specific part of the library, such as "General Collection," "Reference Collection," "Children's/YA Collection," or "Curriculum Collection."
• Limit by "Resource Type": Filter by format, such as "Books," or "Videos" (including DVDs or streaming video).
