The Dewey Decimal Classification System is used to organize books at most public and school libraries.
The Children's/Young Adult Collection can be found on Level 2 of TCNJ Library (north side of the building, near the periodicals section).
To search for children's/YA books using the Library Search box, search by keyword, title or author and limit to Books & Media.
On the left under Location there will be options for:
Children's Fiction
Young Adult Fiction
Children's/YA Collection (will retrieve fiction and non-fiction titles)
Children's/YA Collection - Caldecott Award
Children's/YA Collection - Newbery Award
The Curriculum Collection includes many laminated posters located on the 2nd floor in cabinets across from the Caldecott Award books. They are loosely organized by Dewey Decimal classification number. Many include additional informational teaching resources!
Here's a great one from NASA called Be a NASA Scientist that includes many additional resources accessible by QR code.
