Sound Recordings

To search the library collection for sound recordings, both CDs and streaming, enter keywords into the main search box on the library homepage, then limit your results to "Audio" on the left menu. All tracks from our streaming databases can be discovered and linked to by searching through the library homepage this way. Or if you prefer, search the individual databases below.

Naxos Music Library (TCNJ users)
The most comprehensive collection of classical music available online offering over one million tracks of classical music, historical recordings, jazz, world, and folk musics. A mobile app is available for creating and saving playlists.
Classical Music Library (TCNJ users)
Classical streaming audio database, includes program notes, composer biographies, and images cross-referenced to the recordings. Genres include vocal and choral, instrumental, stage and screen, orchestral, chamber, and opera and operetta, with a particular focus on contemporary music and women composers.
