RTC/TCNJ Student Online Access
PLEASE NOTE!
Your off-campus access to online library resources at TCNJ will depend on your RTC/TCNJ registration status. Please confirm your student type (see categories below) to determine whether you have full on-campus access or whether you must come to the TCNJ Library to access online resources such as databases and ebooks.
-
TCNJ/RTC Certificate Students - Students in this category must come in person to the TCNJ Gitenstein Library Reference Desk and request to log on to our guest computers to access library databases and other online resources such as ebooks and streaming videos. You can access our print book and periodical resources onsite; to borrow books you may purchase a public borrower card. You will not have access to our Interlibrary Loan or Document Delivery services. Please note that the tab for Open Educational Resources provides recommended resources that are open and free to use, regardless of your TCNJ enrollment status.
-
TCNJ/RTC Masters of Education: Instruction Students - Currently registered students in the TCNJ School of Education master's program have full access to library online resources on- and off-campus. By entering your TCNJ username and password you will have off-campus access to library online resources. You will receive a TCNJ student I.D. which can be used to check out books, and you have access to our Interlibrary Loan services.
In this guide we recommend both a collection of library subscription databases along with open educational resources to ensure that all RTC students can access the authoritative learning and research resources you need.
