Identifying primary sources

As you search for books about your topic, you may be required to include books that specifically contain primary source material. For clarification about the difference between primary sources and secondary sources (and tertiary sources), you may find it helpful to refer to another TCNJ LibGuide: Primary Sources.

Search the TCNJ Library Catalog to find books (including ebooks), articles, and videos about your topic.  Results may include reference books, government reports, and statistical compilations. Try keyword searches to begin [example: political marketing]; then refine your search by using relevant Subject Headings from the results of your initial search, for example:
